BUILDING FOR TOMORROW

PROUD PUBLIC LAND OWNERS

Our Story

As 'Extreme' offroad enthusiasts we enjoy a challenge. Central Oregon is a great place to live & visit because there is no shortage of difficult terrain!

We partner with local groups and clubs to help represent all Off-Highway Vehicle Classes in Central Oregon. We are a member-driven coalition of individuals, families, groups, and clubs who want to support OHV recreation and create a unified 'Voice' for the preservation and expansion of OHV opportunities for years to come.

Few places in the country can rival our little piece of OHV paradise for it's sheer beauty, variety of terrain, weather and phenomenal number of legal roads and trails.

EDISON BUTTE OHV

The Edison Butte OHV Trail System, about 25 miles long, is located on the slopes of Kwolh Butte and Sheridan Mountain, west of Bend.

The OHV Trails are open to all Classes (motorcycles, Quads, Jeeps, Side by Sides) of ATVs under 80" in width from April 1 - November 30. The trail system goes through ponderosa pine and manzanita forest in the lower elevations, near the Edison Sno-Park into stands of hemlock trees near Kwolh Butte and Sheridan Mountain.

The volcanic terrain can be challenging for various users because there are many loose rocks and lava ridges. As a result, the trails are considered "More Difficult". This is a multi-use trail. Please be aware of other users.

RIM BUTTE JEEP TRAIL

The Rim Butte Trail System was planned and designed in a collaborative process between the Deschutes National Forest and volunteers from the OHV community. As a result, the trail system minimizes impacts to natural resources while providing unique and challenging opportunities in a forested environment with rugged lava rock features for the off-road community. This system provides some of the most fun, challenging and unique 4x4 trails in the Deschutes National Forest and was built by volunteers and staff.

Located 26 miles east of La Pine, Oregon.

The Rim Butte Jeep Trail is a 14 mile Class II trail system rated Most Difficult to Extreme and is best suited for modified vehicles and rock crawlers.
